Dayunyor, Julilit's eldest pup

This picture was taken when Dayunyor (Julilit's eldest pup) was still 6 months old. This mini pinscher is different with his mom. If Julilit hates strangers and can't be touched by them, this one is the other way around. I can feel that he loves me more than my hubby because everytime he sees me, his short tail wiggles. He is also quite a smart dog because he can follow some basic commands. But we have a problem with him everytime he'll eat his meals. If he doesn't like the taste of his food, he will just sit and look at you. He will wait for you to say "Good job Dayunyor" and "Good boy" then that's the time he will eat his meal. tsktsktsk...

Throwback Thursday with our Julilit

Julilit gave birth to 4 pups!

Last August 6, 2011, My husband and I went jogging in one of the beautiful lakes in our place. It was a beautiful day and we had fun bonding together.

When we went home, we noticed that Julilit, our mini pinscher, was very agitated. So I immediately opened her dog house. I was surprised because there was something that popped out from her back. She ran fast towards my husband as if she's seeking for help. Then we realized that she's about to give birth!

I texted our friend right away who happened to be the person who gave Julilit as her gift for me. She's not a veterinarian but she's adept in helping dogs in giving birth. After few minutes, she came to our house together with her three daughters. 

After an hour, Julilit gave birth to a black boy pup. We named him as Dayunyor (Junior). Then after several minutes, a brown girl pup bulged out. We named her as Kimi. Then after an hour, after an intense labor, she gave birth to two more puppies. The third one is a black boy named Thirdie and the youngest is a brown girl named Maja.

My husband and I were very happy because we didn't expect her to give us 4 puppies since she's so small.

A big thanks to my friend Lowela and her daughters who extended their helping hand for the safe delivery of our beloved dog.

This Red Miniature Pinscher named Julilit was given to me as a gift by a friend of mine. As her thanksgiving for tutoring her twin daughters when they were still in the grade school. At first, I was very hesitant to accept her because I'm not fond of dogs. But because of my friend's persistence and encouragement, I accepted Julilit. 

During the first month of her stay in our house, my mom and I didn't have difficulties in taking care of her. She was so small and fragile. And she is so cute. But after few months, Julilit became active, brave and fearless! She chases anything that runs. She also became curious because she sometimes eats  objects that interest her like tissues, small toys and newspapers. And even my nephew's shoes and slippers! That's the reason why my mom had an idea of giving her back to my friend. But since Miniature Pinscher dogs are known for being fun-loving, entertaining, funny and smart, we began to love Julilit. She's so sweet, loving and loyal. She  also became our security guard at home as she barks and alerts us when someone enters our house. 


At present, Julilit stays with me in a new home with my husband. Good thing that my better half loves dog so much. We're together in taking care and loving her. She maybe sometimes irritates us because of the noise she creates whenever our nephew enters the house, (because she really hates him!)  but nevertheless, Julilit  gives us happiness and enjoyment in which we appreciate a lot.
